Designing for Autism
The numbers vary from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) site which reports 1 out of 68 people have autustism spectrum disorder (ASD). A non-profit organization, Autism Speaks pointed out the latest survey conducted with parents indicating the number of people with ASD could be closer to 1 out of 45 people. By not designing for autism, along with other human conditions, you will fail to be 100 percent accessible.
