As part of my goal for this site to be designed for accessibility first, it is important to understand and be aware of what makes any website accessible for those who have low vision.
I do not pretend to understand what low vision is like. However, I do want to share two terrific tweeters who have been educating me on accessibility issues for the blind and those with low vision. I encourage you to follow them on Twitter.
As with the other terrific infographics I discovered courtesy of Home Office Digital based in the UK, I am posting this here with a link to their GitHub files in case you want to download your own copies.
Do you have a low vision condition?
I would be thrilled to get your feedback on what I am doing right on this site for those of you experiencing low vision issues. As well as what I am not doing right or what is missing.
By educating my audience and myself about accessibility for those of you with low vision, we can work together to create a better accessible world for everyone.
